Exchange funds are held at Bank Iowa, a highly rated financial institution, in segregated, non-pooled bank accounts. Account statements are sent directly from the bank to exchangers, and custodial trust accounts are available.

IPE 1031 maintains high-limit errors and omissions insurance coverage and fidelity bond protection and is backed by an FDIC-insured community bank. Company financial and exchange account records are audited by an independent outside CPA firm, and exchange activities are examined by the Iowa Division of Banking.
